There is a sense of pride when you get the opportunity to bring a snare drum back to life through maintenance.
You see this snare drum now and would have never thought that only four months ago, now over a year ago, this snare drum didn’t look this good. Let alone be able to make a sound!
It had old heads, out of round hoops, a dirty shell, no throw-off, and no wires.
It looked like something that wasn’t worth keeping.
Yet, I saw something in this shell! Not just because it was less than $50 to snag; but because of the potential of what it could become.
After having some time with it and experimenting with different heads and wires, we find ourselves here.
Now, this Rogers R-360 snare drum is one of my go-to drums for a smooth high-end tone, and all it took was for me to put in the work to bring it back to life.
One man’s junk truly is another man’s treasure!
Anyways, stay creative, and have a great rest of the week. I love you guys!! Okay. Byeeeee. ????????????????❤️????????
