Join us for a special violin masterclass with Alexander Woods, one of the most influential teachers in my own musical journey. Alex was my main teacher through college, and he was as much a mentor in life as he was on the violin. His teaching is full of wisdom, encouragement, and practical insights that go far beyond the notes.
Alexander Woods studied with Pinchas Zukerman at the Manhattan School of Music and later at Yale University. He now teaches violin and chamber music at Brigham Young University, where he also founded the BYU Baroque Ensemble. His approach combines deep musical understanding with a rare ability to inspire his students both musically and personally.
In this two-hour masterclass, you’ll get to experience his unique teaching style, shaped by world-class training and years of guiding young violinists. Whether you’re a student, teacher, or performer, you’ll walk away with ideas you can apply to your own playing.
