Pentatonic Chord Scales

This beautiful and useful set of chords emerges when we play every other note in pentatonic scales. Here we play an example in C major pentatonic as well as F# major pentatonic.

There are five modes of the pentatonic scale, and in this clip, we also catch a glimpse of how they are ordered from darkest to brightest on row five of the color tree.
