Rhythm is one of the most important parts of music, if not the most important. Without it, there is no music. Understanding how to play different types of notes is essential.
I'll show you in this video a way to work on rhythm using the scales you already know. Even if you only know the C Major Scale, you can practice this. Make sure that you already understand the 2 on 3 polyrhythm.
One way you can figure out any polyrhythm is to multiply the 2 groupings together.
In this case it's 2 x 3 = 6
Counting 6
LH plays on 1 3 5
RH plays on 1 4
