Day 1 in Taipei, Taiwan! ????????

I just touched down in Taipei and immediately rolled into adventure mode - hunting for a rain jacket in the backstreets, grabbing coffee with Zach (my chaos-loving expat guide), and getting thrown straight into Taiwanese street food culture even though my stomach begged me to please stop. We wrapped the night at this vibey repurposed pier full of bars and food stalls inside shipping containers, and the next day things got even wilder as we wandered from a bustling wet market into the famous Shilin Night Market. After a frustrating hotel mix up, I met Ferro - a fellow wheelchair user living in Taipei - and together we weaved through the crowds, tried games and snacks, and swapped stories about accessibility and life here. Taipei’s first impressions? Wild, vibrant, and I’m 100% hooked!
