More of this, please ✨
Sometimes the most beautiful moments aren’t large spectacles.
They’re tiny, fleeting pauses in between the normal stuff.
But this moment will always hold a special place in my heart.
The other day I spotted Ajdin snapping candid photos.
I was curious what camera he was using, so I stopped him to ask.
We geeked out over our cameras for a few minutes (he shoots with @FujifilmUSACameras, I shoot with @SonyAlphaUniverse).
I asked if I could snap his photo, and he enthusiastically said yes.
Then he immediately asked if he should hold his baby.
(I was going to say hold your camera, but baby is way cuter lol)
I could tell in that moment how proud a dad he was.
But what happened next really pulled at my heartstrings.
His daughter didn’t seem nearly as interested in his camera as he was.
I don’t think she understood exactly what it was.
So within just a few moments, he took a photo of her, and showed her right after.
When she saw herself on the screen, she immediately reached out to play with the camera.
And for a fleeting moment, I watched a dad realize that for the rest of his life, he’d have the joy of sharing his greatest treasures with his daughter.
The smile on his face said it all.
I think this resonated so deeply because one of my earliest memories was playing with my dad’s camera.
That was a core memory for me…
And something tells me this moment will be a core memory for her.
So grateful I was able to witness it. ????
