Meet Monsieur Frootletoot – a medieval nightmare brought to life (and yes, he’s now a plushie): https://somethingwkd.com/products/frootletoot

In this episode, I sculpt a grotesque demon from The Visions of Tondal – a 15th-century painting inspired by a terrifying 12th-century Irish legend. This beastie plays the Devil’s Interval through his schnozzle, sucks sins from the screaming faces of the damned, and looks disturbingly adorable while doing it.

The original tale is brutal: a greedy knight drops dead mid-banquet and is dragged through hell by an angel. Tondal must endure torment after torment – melting flesh, vomiting monsters, and serpents that consume him from within – before finally falling on his knees to beg for redemption before the glory and light of god.

Alongside studying that, I spent weeks sculpting, painting, flocking, and fabricating one of the most cursed things I’ve ever made. Stick around for the money shots – and to see which of my patrons will gets this horrible little thing!

If you’d like to help me drag more horrors from the depths of history, join the Patreon horde. You’ll get early access, behind-the-scenes chaos, and even the chance to be cursed for all time with one of my beasties!
