I have transcribed the sheet music of the first verse of my essential arrangement of the jazz standard "Autumn Leaves" in F minor as well, following a request from a friend who follows me on another social platform. Since I really liked the unique sound that F minor brings to this piece, I decided to publish it here too. I hope you enjoy it!
The music for "Autumn Leaves", certainly one of the most famous and beloved jazz standards, was written by the Hungarian-born composer Joseph Kosma in 1945. Even after exactly 80 years since its composition, the piece remains extremely popular and appreciated.
Click on the related video to see the full arrangement (without sheet music, for now) in the key of E minor, as it appears in The Real Book, 6th edition.
