Five artistes received the Governor’s award for distinction in arts, music and literature 2021-2022 during the award ceremony held at Dr. Imkongliba Ao Hall in Kohima on September 27. Notebly, Wapang Ozukum was awarded for fine art, Sunep Lemtur for performing art and entertainment, Zangzang Zeliang for music, Bethel Tsuzu for education and piano, Tali Angh for pop and contemporary Christian music. The awardees received a cash reward of five lakh rupees, silver plaque, shawl and citation. The event was attended by Governor Jagdish Mukhi, Chief sSecretary J Alam, Minister Planning and Coordination Neiba Kronu, advisors, senior government officials and others
