Cédric Boero, the district manager of the gallery who was managing the Art Wynwood booth, expressed his disappointment over the accident and shared his thoughts on the loss. "Of course, it is heart-breaking to see such an iconic piece destroyed," he said in a statement shared with CNN via email. The incident occurred during the fair's opening cocktail hour, when an unnamed art collector visiting the booth accidentally kicked the sculpture's podium, causing it to fall and break.
