Zohra Drif

Zohra Drif est une héroïne de la guerre de libération nationale. Elle est née en 1934 à Tiaret. Étudiante à la faculté de droit d’Alger, elle s’inscrit dans la lutte pour l’indépendance du pays et intègre la Zone Autonome d’Alger. Le 30 septembre 1956, elle est chargée de placer une bombe au Milk Bar. Condamnée par contumace, elle est arrêtée avec Yacef Saadi le 25 septembre 1957 et condamnée à 20 ans de travaux forcés par le tribunal militaire d’Alger pour “terrorisme”. Emprisonnée en Algérie puis en France, elle sera graciée et libérée en 1962. Avocate et sénatrice, elle a été vice-présidente du Conseil de la nation. Zohra Drif est la veuve de Rabah Bitat, un des chefs historiques du FLN.

زهرة ظريف هي بطلة من بطلات حرب التحرير الوطني. ولدت في عام 1934 في تيارت. كانت طالبة في كلية الحقوق بالجزائر، فانضمت إلى النضال من أجل استقلال البلاد وشاركت في المنطقة المستقلة للعاصمة. في 30 سبتمبر 1956، كُلّفت بوضع قنبلة في "ميلك بار". حُكم عليها بالإعدام غيابياً، واعتُقلت مع ياسف سعدي في 25 سبتمبر 1957، ثم حُكم عليها بالسجن لمدة 20 عامًا مع الأشغال الشاقة من قبل المحكمة العسكرية بالجزائر بتهمة "الإرهاب". سجنت في الجزائر ثم في فرنسا، قبل أن تحصل على العفو وتُفرج عنها في عام 1962. أصبحت محامية وسيناتورة، وشغلت منصب نائبة رئيس مجلس الأمة. زهرة ظريف هي أرملة رابح بيطاط، أحد القادة التاريخيين لجبهة التحرير الوطني.

Zohra Drif is a heroine of the Algerian War of Independence. She was born in 1934 in Tiaret. A student at the Faculty of Law in Algiers, she joined the struggle for the country's independence and became part of the Autonomous Zone of Algiers.
