The allocation of 10 billion shillings into the national hygiene programme dubbed 'kazi mtaani' which aims at employing over 200,000 youth in the country has been welcomed by young people in informal settlements who benefited from the first phase. According to the Housing PS Charles Hinga the program is just one of the plans that the government has in ensuring that they create one million jobs and reignite the economy. We toured several areas which were part of the first phase to assess the impact.
