Winter Camping between Snow Storms. Solo Cold Tent Backpacking the Mountains of the North

Cold tent winter camping between two snow storms in the northern mountain wilderness. The forecast was good and all the fresh snow from storms the days before made for beautiful wind shaped snow formations. I choose skis for this trip in very deep new snow and found a great camp sheltered by a cornice above the tree line. It started snowing as I had set up my camp, and kept snowing for most of the rest of my adventure. A beautiful overnight trip with amazing reflections in the snow after dark. Snow is beautiful!
