What's the WORST example of spoiled behavior you've seen from a kid?

I work at this fancy country club where rich families bring their kids for swimming and tennis. Most kids are pretty normal, but last summer I met the most spoiled brat I've ever seen in my life.

His name was Austin, maybe ten years old. Designer clothes, brand new iPhone, shoes that cost more than my rent. His mom dropped him off every morning in a car that looked like it belonged in a magazine.

The first red flag was during swim lessons. Austin didn't want to get his hair wet because he had a birthday party later. When the instructor told him he had to participate, Austin screamed until his mom came running.

She yelled at the swim teacher for upsetting her precious baby. Called the club manager and demanded a refund because the instructor was being unreasonable. The swim teacher got written up for doing his job.

But that was nothing compared to lunch. The club cafe only had grilled chicken that day, but Austin wanted nuggets. Normal kid might be disappointed, right? Not Austin.

He threw his plate across the room, hitting another family's table. Food went everywhere. The dad got marinara sauce all over his white shirt. His little daughter started crying because she got scared.

Austin's mom rushes over, but instead of apologizing, she screams at the cafe staff. Demanding to know why they don't have nuggets available. Saying her son has special dietary needs and this is discrimination.

The manager offers to have the kitchen make nuggets specially for Austin. But Austin says no, he wants McDonald's nuggets specifically. So his mom sends their driver to McDonald's while everyone waits.

The family that got hit with food is trying to clean up. The dad's shirt is completely ruined, clearly dressed for something important. But does Austin's mom apologize? Nope.

She tells them they should have moved their table when they saw her son was upset. Like it's their fault for existing in the same space as her precious angel.

Twenty minutes later, the driver comes back with McDonald's. Austin takes one bite and decides he doesn't want nuggets anymore. Throws the entire bag in the trash and demands ice cream instead.

His mom calls the driver back to get ice cream from some specific place across town. Meanwhile, Austin is running around the dining room, knocking over chairs and bothering other families.

When a staff member asks him to sit down, Austin looks her dead in the eye and says, "You can't tell me what to do. My daddy owns this place." His mom just laughs like it's the cutest thing ever.

Plot twist though. Austin's dad doesn't own the country club. I looked it up later. His dad works in sales at some tech company. Nice job, sure, but he definitely doesn't own a multi-million dollar country club.

The worst part came when another kid, maybe six years old, was playing with a remote control boat at the pool. Austin decided he wanted it. Walked right over and grabbed it out of the little kid's hands.

The six-year-old starts crying, asking for his toy back. Austin pushes him into the pool. This little kid couldn't swim well yet, so he's panicking and swallowing water. His parents had to jump in fully clothed to rescue him.

Austin's mom's reaction? She tells the other parents they should have been watching their son more carefully. Says Austin was just playing and accidents happen. No apology, no concern for the kid who almost drowned.

That's when I'd had enough. I'd been working at this club for three years and never complained about problem families. But watching a six-year-old almost drown because some spoiled brat wanted his toy was my breaking point.

I reported everything to the general manager. Every incident, every tantrum, every time his mom enabled his behavior. I wasn't the only staff member who complained either. Turns out everyone had stories about this family.

The lifeguards, tennis instructors, even parking attendants had complaints. Austin had spit on a valet driver the week before because the car wasn't ready fast enough. His mom tipped the guy five dollars like that made it okay.

The next week, Austin's family got their membership revoked. Banned permanently from the club. When his mom called screaming, the manager told her exactly why. Her son was a danger to other children.

Austin's mom threatened to sue, said she'd ruin the club's reputation online. But fancy country clubs don't care about one crazy family when they have waiting lists of people wanting to join.

Last I heard, Austin's family tried to join two other clubs in the area. Word travels fast in those circles. Both places rejected their applications before they even finished the tour.
