What is the "Vintage Blues" sound?

Small chords are some of the more overlooked shapes in the guitar world. I'm not sure why because they're fun, easy, and when realized by players that know how to use them they can have a huge impact on your playing.

Skip James, Mississippi John Hurt, Robert Johnson, they all knew how to sneak two-finger shapes around the neck while maintaining that infectious rhythm we've come to know and love from their playing. And that's why today, we're studying on small chords.
