Let's go back to the beginning. My name is Mike Trask, and I've been an artist for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I was sketching superheroes, sculpting in school, and penning poems inspired by the ocean in my hometown of Nova Scotia, Canada. Then, at the age of 14, I picked up a guitar, and that's where my journey in music began.
During my twenties in Halifax, N.S., I immersed myself in rock and blues music, eventually releasing my debut solo folk album. Around the age of 30, life led me to New Brunswick, Canada. Here, I ventured into recording and producing for numerous prominent Francophone artists. I established a fully analog recording studio called MRC and embarked on my journey as a producer. My affection for analog and vintage equipment ignited my creativity, offering such a hands-on organic approach to music. Embracing a DIY ethos, I learned to play the drums, create videos, fix tape machines, mix and record my own records, cultivate vegetables, and construct sheds – you name it.
While I have no intentions of ceasing production or recording for other artists, my goal in launching this Patreon is to connect with those who love my own music and art and to allocate more of my time to that.
By joining the community on my Patreon page, you'll gain access to a treasure trove of exclusive content that you won't find anywhere else. This includes early releases, behind-the-scenes insights,s, discounts, unreleased music, demos, sample packs for producers, tutorials, and an array of other exciting bonus materials. Subscribing means you're tapping into direct access to fresh-from-the-presses content from the artist.
I do really appreciate you stopping by and here to hoping you stick around!
