On the violin vibrating from one note to another without stopping is called continuous vibrato. To show this why don't I slow it down. When we go from the first finger to the second, the vibrato motion of the first finger launches it to the second finger. It's the same when we go from the second finger to the first. So one fingers vibrato motion launches it to the next finger which continues vibrating and like that we have a continuous vibrato.
