Hi Guys,
This is number 38 from the red book and you should be getting really good at long and short bows by now. Make sure that you pay special attention to your long up bows and the short bows in the lower half - if your long up bows aren't long enough, you'll end up doing your shorts in the middle rather than the lower half.
Also concentrate on making sure that your finger shapes are good - low second squashed on the first finger and third stretching up on it's angle.
Who Is Marketa?
Hi Guys and thanks for dropping by
I'm Marketa and I'm a violin teacher in Melbourne Australia. I'm primarily making these videos to help my students out with their practice at home. I'd love to share my knowledge and experience with as many aspiring violinists as possible and am always happy to help so if ever you have a question or need a hand with anything violin related, don't hesitate to drop me a line :)
Of course there are many different pathways to playing great violin so if your teacher or you have a different way of doing something, stick with that; these are just the methods and ideas that I've found work over my years of teaching
