Music often begins with less than the full number of beats in the first measure
These notes are called the pickups or anacrusis
The first beat of a full measure is called the downbeat and the last beat of a measure is called the upbeat
Upbeats are usually played upbow
So in this video, we shall be practicing the upbeat with British Grenadiers and Symphony Theme
