We had our amazing tutor David down to film some videos for us a few weeks back and it's safe to say he brought the jazz. Being a big fan of guys like Allen Holdsworth we got a masterclass for David about how to spice up the bread and butter of a jazz an ii - V - I progression!

This lick shows you just that using what's called enclosure where you outline the chord tones from a semitone on either side before hitting that desired note or not making your brain fill in the gap of what should've been there! ???? But if you're not a big jazz fan you might want to leave this one out ????
