Hydrogen power meets real trail capability in the Toyota Tacoma H2 Overlander Concept. It pairs a Toyota Mirai fuel cell stack with a lithium ion battery and dual motors for 547 horsepower and near silent four wheel drive.

Built on the TNGA F platform, the Tacoma H2 Overlander uses three hydrogen tanks totaling 6 kg plus a 24.9 kWh battery to deliver instant torque, quick refueling, and practical range. A front limited slip differential and rear electronic locking differential handle tough climbs, while Fox 2.5 Performance Elite Series shocks and Tundra front brakes keep control on rough terrain. The patent pending exhaust water recovery system captures distilled water for washing and showering. Dual NEMA 14 50 outlets can charge two EVs or power a home off grid.
