The daughter of beloved actor Tony Curtis has recently revealed a terrible secret about his father's career that all of us feared to be true.
Tony Curtis was a famous American actor whose career lasted for sixty years, with his most popular time being in the 1950s and early 1960s. Curtis acted in over 100 movies, taking on many different kinds of roles. Later in his life, he also appeared on TV a lot.
Curtis got his first big break as a serious actor in the movie "Sweet Smell of Success" in 1957, where he acted alongside Burt Lancaster. In 1958, he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in "The Defiant Ones," a movie he did with Sidney Poitier, who was also nominated for the same award. In 1959, Curtis was in two popular comedies, "Some Like It Hot" and "Operation Petticoat." The next year, he had a smaller but important role in the big historical movie "Spartacus."
But most recently Tony has been exposed by his daughter Jaime, who shared his most intimate secret. After 1960, Curtis's fame and movie roles decreased a lot.
