Welcome back for the redemption arc! ????
If you saw my last video, you know this figure—now christened The Long-Legged Wobble Loom—caused a total sculpting meltdown with its flimsy armature, cracking clay, and four ridiculous legs. But here's the secret: I decided to stop fighting the polymer clay and embrace the weird!
In this video, I take the creature—with its elephant ears and mouse-like face—from a wobbly gray mess to a vibrant, spooky creation. I used a black, red, and green palette, channeling my inner Tim Burton.
Painting this piece was pure joy—no armature battles, no cracking, just fun color application. It proves that The Flaw is the Feature and you can always turn a sculpting fail into a painting fun!
What do you think of his new, spooky look? Let me know if you get Tim Burton vibes in the comments!
***A quick note on quality: I just realized my camera settings were set to a lower resolution, which is why the visuals are softer on large screens. My sincere apologies for the unclear image quality in this video and previous ones! The good news is, I’ve fixed the settings! Moving forward, every new video will be uploaded in crisp, high-quality 4K. Thanks for sticking with the channel! All the old videos will have this note.
