When I’m sculpting animals, I often take lots of photos of the process because this helps me see my creations from a different perspective, as the camera can be really good at picking out what’s working, or what I want to change. Taking photos also gives me the chance to digitally draw what I want to do next, or overlay anatomy diagrams to check proportions. Looks like I need to lengthen the neck on this horse a little.

ABOUT ME:
I publish videos once a month sharing my adventures in creating horse and animal art in my free time for my own enjoyment, like sculpture, painting, printmaking and more. I'm all about juggling multiple creative interests and different art media...slowly. If you enjoy watching the adventures of an artist making things by hand, and sometimes learning something new, I’d love to show you what I make next!
