This 2-Note Trick Moves Your Handpan Song to Any Other Scale!

Hello my Friends!
If you can find the octave and the fifth, you can move any melody you wrote on handpan to any other handpan. In this lesson I show the simple “anchor-interval” method I use with four different handpan scales: D Kurd, D Celtic, C# Pygmy, and a Mandarin Minor Halo.

We’ll:

Lock in the tonic (home note), then quickly locate the perfect 5th and octave on each layout

Use those anchors to map your melody’s shape (up/down steps & leaps)

Translate it to another instrument by matching scale position rather than specific note names

Finish with a short play-through so you can hear the same song across multiple pans
