The Pogues Christmas Song Fairytale of New York - JESSICA DIAMOND live at John Lewis & Partners
At the age of 4 Jessica started learning the violin, influenced by her father Richard Crabtree, Professor at Trinity Laban Conservatory of Music & Dance, London.
Jessica studied Classical music until the age of 18 where she decided her passion was writing and singing pop songs and scoring music for film.
Jessica graduated from Leeds College of Music with a Popular Music Composition Degree in 2011, however the music of Bollywood captured Jessica’s heart, and in 2012 her career blossomed within this genre.
During the beginning of Jessica’s professional music career, she was a part of several musical groups including:
6-piece wedding band travelling the UK
String Quartet
Orchestra
Electric violin duo travelling to Thompson Gold Hotels in the Canary Islands
Folk/Pop Band
Alongside all the musical groups, Jessica worked with composers and producers to write music for TV and Radio.
This breadth of experience contributed considerably to grow Jessica’s skills as a musician and to help define her musical sound.
Her meteoric rise as the premier Bollywood Wedding Violinist in the UK has led to many engagements throughout the country and abroad. Her beautiful demeanour presence is noted by all at every function whether small and intimate or on the grandest of scales! The boxer Amir Khan’s engagement and wedding in Bolton, Manchester was one of the most memorable for Jessica where she performed to 4000 guests.
During 2013 to 2015 Jessica decided to take a two-year break to devote her skills towards what she refers to as ‘artist for craft and violin sound.’ It was at this time she focussed on writing an album and creating a violin light show.

In 2015 Jessica released her first single called ‘Spiral Reflections’ followed by her debut album ‘Reflections’.
The album was programmed to a diamond light, which Jessica designed and programmed alongside engineer and light programmer guru Simon Horn.
In 2015 Jessica moved to London to pursue her dreams as a violin artist. She once again started performing for Indian weddings, and was subsequently flown to Edinburgh to perform for Shah Rukh Khan’s award ceremony presented by Princess Anne.
Jessica’s name grew rapidly within the Indian Wedding Industry, and she now feels she has accomplished her dream of becoming a music artist.
Jessica’s performances both at weddings, charity functions (where she raises thousands of pounds with every appearance) and for Radio and Television, has given her the satisfaction of ‘all round musician and Performing Artist’.
