The Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF) is a year-round national theater program serving 18,000 students across colleges and universities in the U.S. Through regional and national festivals, KCACTF celebrates and uplifts excellence in college theater while creating space for artists to grow, collaborate, and innovate. Students gain experience and recognition in disciplines such as performance, directing, design and technology, dramaturgy, playwriting, theatre journalism, and more.
From production responses to national showcases, KCACTF offers a platform for emerging artists to engage with their craft, connect with peers from across the country, and explore the power of storytelling through live theater.
