Nothing says “romance” like Greek mythology.
I think the reason Hades and Persephone is such a romanticized and reimagined story is because Hades isn’t as bad as his brothers. Which says a lot, considering his relationship with Persephone began with him literally kidnapping her.
At least Demeter gets to see her daughter for half the year. I hope they’re enjoying each other’s company now that it’s summer where I live.
