"Walking in L.A." by Missing Persons was written by the legendary drummer and one of our very own artists in residence Terry Bozzio. Featured on their 1982 debut album, Spring Session M, and produced by Ken Scott at Chateau Recorders in Los Angeles, the track stands out not just for its satirical take on L.A.’s car culture but for Bozzio’s inventive drumming — using unique soundscapes including multiple chinas that is unique to Terry's style. For drummers, it’s a lesson in combining groove with creativity, making it an incredible drum classic to practice.
