Djembe is a language – but are we really treating it like one? In this reflection I share a story that taught me an important lesson about the power of speaking rhythms before even touching the drum.

Hey, just a quick heads-up: in the video I mention that the rhythm I was vocalising is coming out this Saturday. It’s actually the week after.
