Today, I present to you quite a treat! At least, for me, it was. I had the distinct honor of providing the drums for @DaveMoodyMusic 's cover of this James Taylor classic, and one of my favorite songs to play along with, "Sweet Potato Pie."

Dave found me through the interwebs and asked if we could do a song that paid tribute to my uncle, #CarlosVega - of course, I said yes. Not only because I love playing this song, and I love keeping my uncle's legacy alive any chance I get, but also because Dave is a very accomplished musician (2-time Grammy nominated!), but also a liver transplant survivor. And seeing as though I have fatty liver disease and am pre-diabetic, Dave is a warning to me, sent straight from God, and a testament as well, to the resilience and strength it takes to persevere.

I hope our performance inspires, entertains, and gives homage to musicians all over the world fighting battles behind the scenes.
