Music always played a role in my language-learning journeys. However, when it comes to learning French, certain songs played an almost pivotal role - and they make me immediately think of particular stages of my progress in French!

What are your experiences? Do you think music is important when learning a foreign language? And what about French in particular? I believe that French pronunciation is the most difficult part of mastering the language, and this is where music can really help, but that's just the way it worked for me.

MY TOP 10 LIST (all songs are in chronological order, not in order of preference):
"Je fais de toi mon essentiel" Emmanuel Moire

Comédies musicales (Mozart, l'opéra rock; Le Roi Soleil)
Maitre Gims ("Zombie", "Je te pardonne", "Ma beauté", "Tout donner", "Laisse moi te dire"...)

Le Roi Arthur ("Auprès d’un autre")
"Je vole" Louane
Soprano (“Clown”, “Je roule”, “Mon précieux” - this last one is such a PERFECT description of our contemporary lives!)

Slimane & Vitaa „Avant toi” (& other songs)

AND I can't believe I forgot about certain other songs and singers, such as Stromae (I love "Formidable" and "Carmen", among other of his songs)!
