Story line:
" ... initially, it was very easy to follow in their own footsteps, but then it became more and more difficult. The falling snow covered my footprints that had been left earlier. In the end, the tracks became invisible. Then I had to go by memory. Pulling the sled with the Christmas tree was not very easy, besides, the snow began to intensify. Suddenly I remembered the morning announcement on the radio that a snowstorm was expected. This scared me and I quickened my pace. The blizzard was getting stronger, because of this, visibility became poor. I didn't know how long I had to walk to get home, but I felt it was about 2 miles. This distance did not seem great, but it was not easy to walk through the half-meter snowdrifts. If I had not pulled the sleigh with the Christmas tree, I would have gone much faster. But after all, the tree that I was dragging was the goal of this whole adventure, for the sake of it I went into the forest. With each next step, it became more and more difficult to walk, and I had a choice: leave the sleigh with the tree and easily go further, or pull it along, but in this case it was not known whether I would get out of the forest. After some thought, I still chose the first option and abandoned the sled. It became much easier to walk, I walked another 10 minutes and saw the lamplights of the village. It was still a little before the village, and suddenly I saw my grandmother and several of our neighbors from the village, they were looking for me and came towards me. My joy knew no bounds! In the end, we got out, and soon I ended up in my grandmother's house. Grandmother scolded me strongly that I went into the forest myself and did not warn her. It was a good lesson for me to never do that again. That evening I was sitting in my room by the fireplace. I, wrapped in a blanket, drank raspberry tea, and warmed my feet in a bowl of hot water. I felt good, I felt warm, comfortable and safe. And outside the window the same blizzard continued, the sounds of which reached my room. Combined with the crackling sounds of the fireplace, this created a pleasant feeling. I could not wait for the blizzard to end so that my grandmother and I went into the forest to find the sleigh with the Christmas tree that I had abandoned. I did not lose hope that we would find them, because I remembered the place where I left them. The only thing that scared me was that the sleigh with the Christmas tree might be covered with a thick layer of snow, and I could only find them in the spring, when the snow melted. In this case, my grandmother and I had a plan B. We will decorate the Christmas tree that grows near the house with toys, and this Christmas will be the most fun and happy Christmas in my life! "
