Years ago it was almost impossible to obtain a tattoo machine without being strictly vetted by a supplier. These days anybody can just log in to their Amazon account and have a shiny new machine delivered to them within a matter of hours. Some people say the old way was gatekeeping, others say the new way is incredibly unsafe and allows tattoo machines to get into the hands of people who don't properly know how to use them. We asked our panel of tattoo artists what they think about people buying tattoo machines off of Amazon.
