Efrain Ribeiro has documented and immersed himself in Baltimore's jazz community for more than 40 years --indeed, he's hailed as the JJA's 2024 Baltimore Jazz Hero. He has worked primarily in small, low-light venues with an eye for context and musicians' interactions. He discusses the scene and his imagery, hosted by Howard Mandel, president of the Jazz Journalists Association.
