Sculpting 'Bud' | Making The Plaster Pattern | James Parker Sculpture

Working on the plaster pattern for 'Bud' which will be cast in bronze.

The abstract 'Bud' sculpture will stand as a captivating testament to the beauty and intricacy of nature. From its smooth, curving lines to its delicate yet resilient form, this sculpture will draw on inspiration from the organic world that surrounds us. Like a bud on the verge of blooming, it captures the essence of growth, transformation, and potential.

Nature has always been a source of inspiration for me. The remarkable and diverse patterns and forms rarely jar and often evoke a feeling within us of comfort and satisfaction for reasons that are hard to understand: These forms have been so long in the human consciousness that we are somehow interconnected.

'Bud' will be available in limited edition bronze at 30cm, 90cm and 150cm in height.

I am available for public, private and corporate commissions. I ship my work worldwide and were required work on site building my sculpture in situ.
