New day new clay. I really hope these survive a raku firing! ????

it's very difficult to sculpt small faces on heavily grogged clay but I love all the sandy texture. I have to sort of 'pat' the clay instead of pulling and smoothing that can be done with finer clays.

*Note: this is NOT a tutorial - just sharing some of my processes for artist inspiration and encourage others to play and experiment.
