Our guest, Karolina Shapland, the cultural editor at TVP World, discusses the involvement of Russian artists in Russia's propaganda machine. She uses the protest in London against Russian soprano Anna Netrebko's performances as a reference point. Shapland believes that, in order to limit their influence on Western audiences, we should stop inviting Russian musicians, filmmakers, and cultural figures to events altogether. The only exception could be made for Russian artists who have unequivocally and clearly condemned Putin's aggression in Ukraine.
