Learning to embellish around your chord shapes with soulful licks and double stop riffs is an essential part of progressing your rhythm guitar playing.
I often refer to these moves simple as “Hendrix-isms”, but of course they take influence from many places, Curtis Mayfield, Cornell Dupree, Steve Cropper to name just a few.. I do have lessons on each of their styles by the way so do check the links in the description if that interests you!
