Two powerful earthquakes on the Turkish-Syrian border have killed more than 2,500 people. Rescue efforts are underway, but the death toll is expected to rise further.
The initial 7.8 magnitude tremor was centered north of the Turkish city of Gaziantep.
It caused destruction stretching along Turkey's southern border, from the Mediterranean eastwards, also affecting parts of northern Syria.
