Today we're doing some fairly easy work on my single neck Rittenberry. We're putting a 4th pedal on to have a 5&10 string whole step lower. It already had a 4th pedal, so I don't need to add a cross shaft or drill out space on the pedal bar. I just have to screw the pedal back in place, add a bellcrank to the cross shaft, and connect a pull rod between the bellcrank and changer. Then there's just a little tweaking to get the pull in tune. At the end we'll talk about some of the sounds we can get with the whole step lower.
