Popular Artistes Join Assam Congress

With just months to go for Assam elections, artistes, party supporters are busy joining their favourite political parties. Today singers Babu Barua, Nekibul Hussain and music director Ajoy Phukan joined the Congress party at an event held in Guwahati. Several other artistes and supporters also joined the party. Babu Barua and Ajoy Phukan had protested against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act.
