On April 28, 2024, we successfully hosted four sessions of piano masterclasses with a total of 13 participants, ranging in age from 9 to 14 years old.
The participants were divided into two junior classes for students in grades 1 to 3, one intermediate class for students in grades 4 to 6, and one advanced class for students in grade 8 to diploma levels.
The students provided positive feedback, expressing their enjoyment of the group learning environment and acknowledging the valuable insights gained beyond individual piano lessons. They appreciated the opportunity to observe other students being coached by teachers, gaining perspectives from the audience, and experiencing a variety of musical styles and periods through performances. Nevertheless, they cherished the chance of performing to peers, too.
