Carleton-sur-Mer est connue depuis longtemps comme une station balnéaire. Au milieu du 19e siècle, le village était déjà un lieu de villégiature populaire pour les citadins. Au fil des ans, la tendance a gagné du terrain et, aujourd'hui, Carleton-sur-Mer est l'une des premières destinations touristiques de la région.

Un paradis gourmand
Bien manger est une tradition ici. La cuisine française, italienne, japonaise et marocaine est à l'honneur, et bien sûr, il y a tous ces délicieux poissons et fruits de mer. À Carleton-sur-Mer, les aficionados de la gastronomie ont tellement de choix.

Mont Saint-Joseph
Rendez-vous au sommet de 555 mètres, à pied ou en voiture, pour admirer un panorama à couper le souffle sur la mer et les montagnes. Vous pouvez visiter l'Oratoire Notre-Dame, une chapelle bretonne construite en 1935, célèbre pour ses mosaïques et ses vitraux.

Sentiers de randonnée
Des sentiers interconnectés et aménagés en toute sécurité avec de nombreux ponts, escaliers et belvédères vous mèneront aux sommets des massifs du mont Saint-Joseph (555 mètres) et du mont Carleton (613 mètres). Profitez-en à pied ou à vélo.

Promenade en bord de mer

Pointe Tracadigash
Situé à l'extrémité du banc de sable au-delà du camping, c'est un endroit idéal pour admirer le coucher de soleil, visiter le phare ou écouter un discours sur la nature ou un conte raconté par un conteur.

Camping

Piste cyclable
Un réseau de 6 km de pistes cyclables borde le marais salant de Carleton de la pointe Tracadigash à l'extrémité ouest du camping jusqu'à la Route du Quai.

Beachside boardwalk
One kilometre in length, with benches here and there along the way, this new boardwalk runs along the municipal beach and connects it to Rue du Quai. Stroll down by the sea, admire the view with your sweetheart, family, friends or even all on your own.

Pointe Tracadigash
Located at the tip of the sandspit beyond the campground, this is an ideal place from which to admire the sunset, visit the lighthouse or listen to a nature talk or a tale told by a storyteller.

Cycling trail
A 6-km network of cycling trails borders the Carleton salt marsh from Pointe Tracadigash at the western edge of the campground to Route du Quai.
