Description: This practice idea takes an excerpt from the Stick Control book by George Stone, and applies the exercise in a percussion setting. The sticking on Pg 6 #26 makes for a good rudiment when played using Heel/Palm and Split Finger techniques across the Cajon and Talking Drum ( in this case). Try it in various set ups. I find it has improved my dexterity and flow between doubles, and singles with heel palm and split finger and has made my improvisations smoother. #stickcontrol for percussion. #drumrudiments #percussion #percussionrudiment #rudimentsforpercussion #percussionist
