Overnight Alone In A Scottish Island Bothy

This time I am sleeping overnight alone in a Scottish island bothy.

Mountain bothies in Scotland are unlocked shelters usually in remote areas where it's possible to spend the night. They don't have amenities such as running water, food or toilets. It could be described as a slight level up from wild camping.

Most bothies are taken care of by the Mountain Bothies Association who maintain their upkeep and maintenance and it's important to follow the Bothy Code if you do choose to visit a bothy.
