It has now been nine years since 86 people were killed and more than 450 were injured after a truck smashed into a crowd of Bastille Day revellers in Nice, France. The attack came as France was still recovering from a co-ordinated suicide bomb terror attack in November 2015, and prompted the extension of the state of national emergency that had been due to end in days.
