Filled with improvised sounds and harmony by four Black British women artists, the pavilion has four rooms for highlighting each artist and a space for all voices. A proper way of re-discovering the marginalized and advocating the diversity. New works by Sonia is now on view in London as well @simonleegallery
영국의 흑인 여성 가수 4명이 모여 즉흥적으로 쌓아가는 소리와 화음으로 가득찬 파빌리온 - 4명 각각의 방이 있고 모든 목소리가 합쳐지는 공간이 있다. 가려진 인물을 조명하고 다양성과 화합을 이야기하는 적절한 방식. 소니아 보이스의 신작 런던에서도 전시 중 (Simon Lee Gallery)

An immersive experience created by the monumental sculptures, red lights and theatrical effects and installation - what makes it more spectacle is most of the materials were recycled from previous biennales. What a cycle of life!
거대한 조각과 붉은 조명, 연극적인 설치가 자아내는 몰입감. 스펙타클한 작품의 비밀은 바로 지난 비엔날레에서 쓰고 남은 자재들로 만들어졌다는 것.

Adorable jewel paintings and series of video capturing children from all different countries playing games - Kids can play wherever they are and however they live, and sometimes children's games reflect a cruelty of adult's hierarchy. The tiny bright smile of a kid who rides on the colossal tire rolling downhill from Congo cobalt mine... it made me cry at last ????
각국의 아이들이 놀이하는 장면을 담은 영상 시리즈와 사랑스러운 작은 페인팅들. 척박한 환경에서도 애들은 잘 뛰어논다. 그리고 아이들의 놀이에는 어른들 세계의 잔인한 질서가 녹아있기도 하다. 코발트 광산에 타이어를 낑낑 대며 끌고 올라가 데굴데굴 내려오며 환하게 웃는 콩고 아이의 미소에 이상하게도 눈물이 났다 ????
