My Favorite Diminished Lick! ???????? #shorts #robinnolan #gypsyjazzguitar

To get that gypsy jazz sound in your solos it’s critical to have some good diminished licks at your fingertips.

This one is my favorite and sounds awesome over a dominant 7 chord.

In this example I’m playing it over E7 and the lick comes from the Dim shape played on the 6th fret.

Once you have the notes down be sure to bring out that slinky glissando phrase and give it a good bend at the end to add tons of feel & emotion!

This one will sound great in your solos.
