I had a wild revelation yesterday while editing this…

The night of this shoot, I had a dream that I KNOW was a message from #God. Then, when I posted the photos from this shoot, and edited this reel, I broke into tears.

I didn’t even notice how much of a #lipstickncurls look this was until #YOU started commenting. I was like “wait, is that really her?!” And @niathelight said it the best when she commented “it’s giving LipsticknCurls but evolved and healed” and then I sat with that…

And remembered the dream I had the night before - because that comment affirmed my dream…it was like God wanted to make sure I didn’t miss His message. I cried tears of joy because I’ve had to let go of #lipstickncurls and who I was before and it’s been such a painful yet vital process. Like birthing pains…. And even though I’ve shared the story, I continue to realize more and more why God has had me on this path of #release…

Releasing my ideas for His. Releasing my aspirations for Him. Releasing my will for His.

I’ve never felt more loved & empowered to conquer whatever faces me. And while it’s honestly still been very hard for me to talk about #lipstickncurls without feeling a sense of loss, those tears yesterday signified joy in the place of pain for the very first time.

Whew… I am thankful. ❤️
